Superman Returns

Just got home from a long day, start work at 10am, spend all day working and get out at 2am but I did get to watch Superman Returns in the Imax and god dam it was good. If any one at all want to see this film the Imax is the place to do it, it looks fantastic something which I don’t think will transfer to a normal cinema screen as well. The 3D footage in the film is ok but doesn’t really add anything extra to the viewing experience.

As for the house two more estate agents came round all arranged and executed by the 'other side' and good news, £80,000! One of them has just sold a house down the road and already has people interested, so come Monday my house should be on the market, which for me is a small stepping stone which starts me on a different path but it leads to where I want to go, Granted it wont be easy but a little hard work never killed anyone!

Don’t know what else to tell you, my life is good, im happy, I have good friends and a loving family so what have I to complain about?
Spending more time on the road at the moment but it always tends to be for a very good reason and now with GPS to keep me company it not so bad (turn left at the lights) and it means no more A-Z! Where would you be with out the technology?

Well its 3am and im starting to tipe rong so its time for bed! Plans for the next few days? Pool, drinks, work, make time for Good Friends???? Should think so and not forgetting FUN!

Night All.

2 Days to relax!

So after a little help from a friend at work I got 2 days off together and I had a plan, The plan involved spending a little time with a 'Good Friend'. I wanted the time to relax and have fun and that's what happened. It true my plans for the two days didn't go to plan and that's what you get if you rely on the weather but what can you do but adapt and over come! So tennis and football on TV and it was well worth it.

What was strange was the two different life's I have (home in Blackburn and Life In Manchester) crossed over and made things better of the life im stuck in but want out, having someone who only knows my Manchester life come to my Home made me for want of a better word happy! And its good to be happy!

Things are good and I feel good, house still slow but should be moving on with things very soon.

Sat in the garden!

So I did this blog sat in my garden at 10pm enjoying the very end of the day, both cats are in the area and like to attack me every now and then.

its not been easy day to get here over the last few days, started with a training day and a trip to Liverpool, yes I know I was lucky to get out with my car in one piece but didn't go that far south but it was fantastic, think I should keep my reasons for the trip on the QT (for now) And all that after Tom Cruse night with lot of booze and not much sleep.
So getting back home and the problems and work surrounding the place think I hit a bum note, back up early morning to work on the hose with the help from some wonderful people who come round with the sole purpose to help me and back to the lack of help from the 'other side' but I still hold out hope (plz only for the help) but we will see. In to work for the night and back home, bed, sleep and up sanding, painting, trips to the tip.

So still on a bum note and not to happy with the person I have to become to get any help for the 'other side', but the a blinding perception of reality and the chance to look forward to my life to be, not the place where I am but the place I going to be. And I must thank a wonderful idea which I think payed off because I could not stop laughing, I will say no more just enjoy.

When is a date a date?

My week started with a wonderful trip planned to Amsterdam for 2 days and Monday was the day we went, so when I found out my passport was out of date (yes I know!) the trip was off, the money I can stand to lose but to let down a friend is not something I will let go until I have made it up. But with my frame of mind at the moment its about looking for the good in each and ever situation how ever hard. And this one, well two are

1. I got my car back! yes that’s the end of the car update (arrr) but I now have it back with a new rear axle pin and bearings, new front ball join, new cam belt + rollers and a new alternator wheel and belt and its great (£300 all in), so great I took it to work knowing it was going to cost me about £18 to get it off the car park as I was having a night out which brings me on to number 2.

2. I know another night out but this one was different, a few drinks in town then off to a open mic night to watch some amazing artists (one girl in particular). But this time it was about the person I was spending the time with which made the night one to remember.

So with one hand he takes and with the other he gives!

So my house is coming on well thx to my mum and sister, they have been here again painting and decorating and it looks good. each time I come home its not easy to see everything coming together but slowly it is which is a good feeling, thx to the people who have help this become what it is and close to my goal.

Well apart from watching some good films and finding new and old music to add to my world things are still good! sometimes Great!

Night out anyone?

The run of nights out started with Saturday night. Out on the town for a few friendly drinks and a meal, meant some new people and had some fun. Back to a friends flat (thx again) and up in to work all day Saturday (and that's 11 hours of you 9-5 people) and then out for another meal and 1 drink (Driving!) and not tucked in bed till 3am. Back to work at 8:30 but only until 4 then home to drop of my car at a garage (sounds like a car update coming)

So you would think that would be enough for fun but there was something calling me back for one more night out, I will admit it wasn't the thought
One of the pubs
of another night out as I could have done with the rest but more the thought of the people I would be spending it with, because my car is in the garage I would have to get the train in and back home all for 3 hours out and then back to work in the morning. The thought of this wasn't good but I though the night would be worth it and I went out, Im a smart boy as I did have a fantastic night out and got to stay at a good friends for a relay fantastic night sleep. You know when you have had a good night sleep when you could spend the rest of the day in bed, so peaceful.
Back to work (again!) via bus, Yes bus! Me! Felt like a day out!

Its funny how I can be having so much fun but have all the problems of life still there, I cant change things I cant change so why should I worry but its not just that, im having fun and really enjoying my self and the crap part is selling the house but that's down to time, hard work and help. Not out tonigh but not to lack of invitation but the lack of energy and the will to go home, its a shame as i know i would have had fun. anothday.

Car update coming soon.

Night !

My home

So after spending 13 hours at work in one room for a good part of the day I was so happy when the last hour of my shift started, got my bag ready, all the night jobs done, trainers on and ready for home! But ......... I got out of my prison of the last 13 hours and I didn't want to go. 2 hours later and im just leaving work to make my 25 mile trip home and I could have stayed at work forever. Why is this? It wasn't about earning any extra money as I was clocked off but still was happy. Its not that im sad at home just ........................................ (humm not sure, you can fill in the blank, answers on a post card and the funniest wins two cinema tickets)

Keep posted, life goes on!

Could you afford an extra £200 per month?

So after slowly getting somewhere with the back and trying to get rid of the outstanding payments to make it easier of the X to keep up with the payments i now find my self having to pay the dam bill my self, so instead of paying 50% of the bills for the house i am now going to be paying 75% of the bills, Dose this mean i get 75% of what ever I make on the house? Don’t think so!
It almost feels like a trade, i pay 75% and the other half to this break up stats to help, granted its still early days yet and there has only been 2 major things done from a very long list buy 'The Other Side' but i hope with all of my being that it continues.

So after ringing the bank to explain the present situation I stared to get the feeling that the lady at the end of the phone was not that bothered about speaking to me, i say this as when I said if all else fails and im still living in my house months and months down the line I would kill my self to which she replied that’s nice! THATS NICE! what the F**K!

Ok got to go, do some work and all that. But before I go!

Car update :

So, just texted my friend who could get some one to work on my car and nothing! after 2 days zip. The saga continues.

My gay cat Indi

Thought i would give you an insite to indi's life in the garden.

P.s all shot on my phone.

How much!

So trying to get through the next couple of months (only a couple please god) could be better if I didn’t get a final demand for £35000 (yes that’s British pounds) for my bank, due to the lack of payments there not to happy so another thing to add to my list of things to do. after a pleasant conversation i was about to get a stay of execution and with my ISA cashed in should keep me treading water for the time being but why im I dong all the work. Two people own this house but again and again it seams to be only me wanting to get on with our life’s, I hope this will change.

One thing that has helped me with all the work is my Mum, What a slave driver! Every spar minute she has she is round at my house helping with the work needed to make a quick sale as i could put it on the market now and spend the next year trying to sell or I could make it a more better looking sale buy making my house look good, I though this would be simple to understand for anyone selling a house but not sure if the 'other side' of this brake up understands this or if they do cant be bothered to help a member of there own family.

So things done in the last 2 days :

  1. All the paint work in bathroom and kitchen cleaned and painted twice, although it could do with a few tough ups.
  2. The ceiling in bathroom and kitchen painted once but needs another coat.
  3. The second major clean out leaving a pile of stuff to go to the tip, hoping i can get the X to do that as she got a estate car, you can much more in that thing than my sleek corsa (yes sleek).
  4. Sanded all the grouting in the bathroom to be re grouted.
  5. Kitchen floor scrubbed, took bloody ages but looks good.

Its not the biggest list but still a good few days work, Don’t forget I have to get on with everyday life and fit this carp in around it all.

What a week

Well to start this week was a staff party, and well what a party. I tend to Jude nights out on how much money I spend and if I have a good time, it’s not much to ask but it works for me. And as for the staff party I had a fantastic time and didn’t spend much. It also nice to see people you work with out and about, especially people who you may not go out with as much as you would like. I did end up with a 2 day hang over! One of the draw backs of getting older (not to old). And to top the night off I stayed at a good friends so I didn't have to sleep on the street. I have one more comment about the party and that’s GIRLS, the work uniforms don’t do any of you any justice and to be honest it doesn’t do any of the blokes and favors.

I don’t know about you but I don’t like to put people out, but recently I have leant that that’s what friends do and you know what it’s a good feeling when someone is prepared to help you out when you need it.

So after a 2 day hangover and a busy week the opportunity to go out again on Friday night for a friends birthday could not be turned down, so out and about again and another a fantastic night. Catch up with old friends and talk more to new friends and get drunk was the plan and it worked, just to be out and about was a good feeling. And back to the 'putting people out' and back to my friends house to get some sleep (if 2 hrs can be some) and I hope you are starting to see how much this helps me when I live some distance from Manchester. Back in to work for another hung over day but it was all worth it again, So when I tell you I then went out for ANOTHER drink after work im starting to see a pattern! Dose this mean I have to sit in a room with a bunch of strangers discussing how booze is bad for me? Hummm don’t think im quite there yet! But how could I turn down a drink after such a good run of night out and possibly other reasons :-) so out I was again but you will be glad to hear just the 1 and then back home, did make me feel less hung over for the train home which was unexpected though welcome.

Now to set the house work to max over the next few days, it difficult having to trust someone who you on longer feel like you can trust but with this gives motivation which is welcome. Nothing will happen over night and im ready for the down times as i have such good time over the last week but you never know this may be slowly becoming part of my past and not my future. Don’t forget there is always a silver lining in most shits situations its just being able to see it. I now starting to see change in my house which help when putting so much work in.

Will i have been up for 22 hrs and now im starting to feel it so i will leave with this message.

To all my friends and family, you know who you all are. Thankyou! I cant thank you enough for the support and love I have got through this time of my life, you give me the strength to get on with things and make the changes in my life that I want to make. I wish I could describe the way this makes me feel.

So on that rather soppy note, Good Night.
